Optimise Live On Twitter!

Hello everyone, busy week? Certainly has been busy here and successful too! If you’ve been following Optimise’ Twitter profile you will of seen the cryptic tweets being posted about a potential new client, well, what can I say…watch this space (and Twitter!)

This has been our first real week using Twitter and as you may of noticed Jon has already been warned that if his tweets get boring he will be banned! So far so good, we already have lots of new followers including the golfer John Daley. For readers out there who haven’t yet added us or, gasp, don’t have a Twitter profile yet, get one, it’s easy! As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, Optimise have correlated all of our social media devices together with our site so, for example, just through our Twitter page you can keep up to date with everything that is going on here with ease.

Doesn’t it seem like everybody is talking about social media at the minute? I can’t look through a newspaper without seeing another article about how it has saved a life or how it might even save the world! This week I found out that the British zombie horror film, Colin (strange name…), utilised social media sites; Facebook, Myspace and Twitter to round-up all of the cast and other job roles. It cost a mere £45 to create and was shown at Cannes Film festival. Not only did the use of social media sites help with recruiting, it also took care of advertising by creating a buzz and generated a network of eager fans. Hows that for cost-effective marketing?

So, another week over, another victory for social media. If you haven’t already added Optimise on Twitter, you can do that here. Add me too if you like! Have a great weekend and I look forward to seeing you all on Twitter!
