Today Team
When Warrington based same day courier company Today Team wanted to freshen up their pay per click campaign they approached Optimise to get their views on making the landing page more current and any improvements that could be made to convert more visitors into customers.
Dealing with Optimise has been a positive experience for us; we were very impressed with the speed the turn around of the project. We had a good idea of what we wanted but after our meeting it was clear we’d missed a couple of clear elements of a good landing page. The final page is excellent and we’ve seen a definite increase in business.

Today Team had a clear idea of the message they wanted to put across to their customers but were unsure of the best page layout.
After an initial meeting we established that-
- People looking to use a same day courier are usually in a rush so the page had to make a big impact when people click on the adverts.
- A lot of Today Team’s competitors had copied ideas from current landing page so they wanted a totally new look.
- They were short on time after not getting the desired response from other internet marketing companies.
- They were getting a lot of unwanted calls from eBay customers and wanted to eliminate this as much as possible.
- They wanted to work with a company that had Google Qualified Professionals to be sure of the quality of their work.
With all this in mind we presented a concept page in a matter of days that Today Team where very happy with and after a couple of tweaks we put the page live and the according to the guys a Today Team the page has been a big improvement.
We have also undertaken an overhaul of their pay per click advertising which has been a great exercise to learn more about what keywords really work for Today Team and convert business. But most importantly it has been a cost saving exercise meaning by eliminating unwanted traffic through better use of keywords and more descriptive ad text we have saved them 10% from their existing pay per click budget.
